About YCCL

Yishun Christian Church (Lutheran) is a member church of the Lutheran Church in Singapore (LCS), established on 25th Aug 1985. By the grace of God, the church has grown, currently offering services in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien.

 

We also operate Lutheran Child Care Centre at Yishun, sponsor Boys' Brigade 19th Singapore Company and partner with St. Luke’s Eldercare to provide ministry at its centre in Chong Pang. The Lutheran Church is the oldest Protestant denomination. At YCCL our Divine Service uses a traditional Lutheran Liturgy which is a reverent ritual formed and filled with God’s Word. We call our worship services “Divine Service” because we believe that it is God Himself who calls and gathers us for worship, and God Himself who serves us with His Word and Sacraments, for which we respond with thanks and praise, prayer and service to our neighbours.

 

To meet the needs of our children and youths, YCCL holds Sunday school classes and Youth Service (in concurrence with the Divine Service in English) to infuse powerful Biblical values in the lives of generations to come.
