Dear friends,

A warm welcome to Yishun Christian Church (Lutheran). Whether you are visiting for the first time, returning after some time away, or simply exploring the Christian faith, we are glad you are here.

 

Our church’s vision is to be an intergenerational spiritual community reflecting the glory of God. We believe God gathers different generations to learn, grow, and serve alongside one another. As a spiritual community, we live under God’s grace and forgiveness, journeying from time to eternity and preparing for Christ’s second coming.

At the heart of our life together is Sunday Divine Service. We call it “Divine Service” because God is the One who calls us, gathers us, and serves us through His means of grace—absolution, His Word, and the Sacrament—so that we may respond with thanksgiving, prayer, and love for our neighbours. We also encourage private devotion and the family altar as an extension of Sunday worship throughout the week.

 

You will hear us speak often about faith, grace, love, hope, peace, family, and community—because these are values we want to grow in, together, as God’s people. In the Lutheran way of discipleship, we begin with identity before activity: we live as people loved by God, and from that love we learn to follow Jesus more deeply. And as we are freed in Christ, we are also freed to serve—living out Christian freedom through humble servanthood and outreach.
